Please read the following as it will assist you in handling issues in Blackboard.
1. HELP DESK
A reminder to contact the 24/7 help desk at 866-590-9238 if you encounter any technical issues with Blackboard. If you have questions about assignments, tests or course content, please contact your instructor directly with these types of questions.

2. ASSIGNMENTS TOOL
Students – Please be aware that there is a NEW process when submitting assignments through Blackboard. To correctly submit assignments, browse and select your file THEN click the attach button. If the attach button isn’t clicked, your attachment isn’t getting submitted to your instructor.

3. BLACKBOARD NOTIFICATIONS
As you have probably seen, the new version of Blackboard sends notifications about several items in courses. The links on these notifications aren’t currently working. Also, when you reply to these messages, it comes to elearning support not the instructor. We’re working with Blackboard on this. In the meantime, please login to Blackboard at http://elearning.kctcs.edu to access your course or contact your instructor directly.

4. BLACKBOARD BACKPACK
FYI, The Blackboard Backpack tool does not work with version 9. We contacted the company and they said due to technology incompatibilities between the 2 programs there currently aren’t any plans to take this product forward.
